We hope you're safe and well, and that those closest to you are too. In spite of everything, we've loved seeing all the ways people across the UK have been helping each other out and cheering each other up. From Captain Tom Moore's monumental efforts, to rainbows in windows and the weekly clap-a-thon.

But the fact is, charities are under threat like never before.

That's why to protect our vital research and the support we're providing to the 7.4 million people affected by heart and circulatory diseases, we're asking you to take part in the brand new 2.6 challenge.

2.6 challenge

What is the 2.6 challenge?

This Sunday, on what would have been the date of the London Marathon, we're asking you to dream up a fundraising activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26. This is a challenge for all ages and all abilities - so do whatever works best for you. The only rule is that you stick to government guidelines on social distancing. Check out some of our ideas to get your creative juices flowing.

How do I take part?

After that, it's just a case of starting your challenge on Sunday and telling your friends and family about it over social media to get those well-earned donations rolling in.

We are determined to always be here for people affected by heart and circulatory diseases. With your help, we will weather this crisis. And we will beat heartbreak forever.

And remember, you can always visit our support hub for latest expert information on coronavirus and your heart health.
